Affiliate Summit Roundup

Affiliate Summit

This was a very special Affiliate Summit for us this year as it was the platform for re-launching the new AI-driven Publisher Discovery to an international market at #ASE19 in New York, at the Marriott Marquis on Times Square.

The show was extremely busy as is usual, especially on the Sunday for the Meet Market and of course the first full day of the exhibition, where Publisher Discovery had a booth. With the new branding also being launched, we had a huge amount of interest in the new platform and – there was a queue of people wanting a closer look at the new SaaS interface.

The very first stand visitor after reading our handout and said “I could hug this card” – it seems like we can solve all her recruitment frustrations with our new software. A lot of people loved the price as well – I heard “£99? Why wouldn’t I buy it!” a few times.

Shows like this are always a great opportunity to meet up with current clients. In an industry that’s so geographically spread out its a pleasure to meet so many of our friends face to face. The Affiliate Summit organisers  go out of their way to make sure there’s plenty of chances to have those specially useful random conversations that happen. The Match sessions looked great – and of course everyone enjoys the happy hours and Pub Crawls.

AWARDS AND SEMINARS

There’s a serious part to the conference of course and there’s a big emphasis on sharing knowledge, with great sessions from influential speakers across the industry. The subject ranged from working with influencers to partnering outside affiliates and optimising offers in Lead Generation.

We also noted increased levels of talk about AI and machine learning since last year showing people are really starting to use the very big data sets involved in affiliate management in increasingly creative ways.

Geno Prussakov’s AM Days was co-located with Affiliate Summit for the first time as well which proved very popular. This is a series of workshops on affiliate marketing with content aimed at newer advertisers and those investigating the affiliate world.

AWARDS

The end of the first day features the Pinnacle Awards and this year’s event recognising the best in class and latest innovations. Our friends at Partnerize won the award ‘Best Affiliate Marketing Innovation’. UpSellit was also awarded for the ‘Best Performance Marketing Campaign’ with Awin taking the stage as the ‘Network of the Year’. You can see more on the Pinnacle Awards pages.

OUR NEXT EVENTS

PI Live All Floor 300x169 1

We’ll next be attending DMEXco in Köln, Germany. This is one of the largest digital marketing conferences in Europe with over 1000 exhibitors across three or four halls of the Kölnemesse, as well as 550 speakers and over 40,000 attendees. If you’re planning to be there, we’d love to meet you.

The next major show we’re exhibiting at is Performancein.Live in London. This very focused show has expanded in the last couple of years to include the Influencer Marketing Show, recognising how the two disciplines are intertwined. The event is in the heart of the City of London at the Old Billingsgate next to the River Thames; a dramatic setting with spectacular views along the river.

We of course would love to see you there if you’re planning to come. You’ll find our stand beside the doors to the riverside catering area. We’ll be showing our new AI technologies of course and demonstrating the platform. We are also keen to get feedback from users as well as your ideas on how we can develop the technology further. You can see more on this and book a time to meet us at the shows on our events page.

See you there!
